Acupuncture for Chronic Pain

Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment for a wide variety of chronic pain conditions, including back pain, migraine headaches, fibromyalgia and neck and shoulder pain.

Acupuncture for Chronic Pain

In addition to treating chronic pains, acupuncture has tremendous advantages over surgery and opioid pain medications. Unlike opioid medications, there is no risk of addiction or negative side effects. And unlike surgery, acupuncture treatment does not entail lengthy rehabilitation and there is no risk of long-term negative consequences from treatment.

A recent review of research on acupuncture for chronic pain looked at 32 studies involving 17,922 patients suffering from chronic pain conditions and found that acupuncture was superior to both “sham” acupuncture and no acupuncture.*

Acupuncture for Back Pain

Study after study has shown that acupuncture is effective for back pain from a variety of causes, including neck, shoulder and low-back pain. Our goal is to alleviate back pain so that people can get back to an active and vibrant lifestyle that will keep them strong and fit.

Acupuncture for Migraines

In our fast-paced, high stress society, recurrent headaches are so common as to be nearly epidemic. While acupuncture cannot eliminate the stress from peoples’ lives, it can profoundly affect our bodies’ response to it. Acupuncture studies have proven that it helps with migraines and tension headaches to both decrease intensity and frequency.
